Pathfinder is hosting a free College Financing Seminars for college-bound juniors or seniors and their families on Thursday, January 14th at 6:30 p.m. in the school Library.  A flyer with more information is posted on the school website.

Students who plan to attend should RSVP to their Guidance Counselor so we can have an accurate count for seating.

Registration is now open for Juniors or Seniors interested in taking a free college course for the upcoming spring semester at S. T. C. C. through the College Now program.  The deadline to register for a course is mid-January. Please see or e-mail your guidance councilor.

The ASVAB is available at no cost to juniors & seniors and will be given at Pathfinder on Wed. January 13th from 8:00 -11:00 a.m.
ASVAB scores are needed to enlist in the military after graduation, however, you are not obligated to join the military as a result of taking the test.  Many students take the ASVAB to explore possible civilian careers and have no interest in the Armed Services.

To summarize, the ASVAB is a good option if you’d like to identify your military options OR explore careers that match your interests & abilities.  Please come to Guidance to sign-up & get a permission slip.

Signed permission slips to take the ASVAB are due back to Guidance no later than this Friday, January 8th.
