Pathfinder is hosting a free Financial Aid Night on Thursday, October 13th in the school library for college bound juniors or seniors and their families.  Our guest speaker from Amherst College will explain the entire college financing process and be available to answer any questions.  Please let Guidance know if you plan to attend so we can have adequate seating and materials.

Pathfinder will be offering the PSAT (Preliminary SAT) on Wednesday, October 19th at 8:00 a.m. in the school Library at a cost of $15.  Any juniors or sophomores who are college bound should take the PSAT to practice and prepare for the SAT and get feedback on their academic skills to identify areas that need improvement.

Interested students should sign-up in Guidance as soon as possible as space is limited to 35 students.  Priority is given to juniors until today after that point any open slots will be available to sophomores.  Please understand that signing up only indicates interest.  Your slot is not secured until the $15 test fee has been paid!~

Driver's ed classes will start on Thursday, October 6th and will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays until December 11, 2016 in room 201 from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Please come to the Reception office to sign up or to get more information

Are you looking for a volunteer experience to put on your job or college application?  First Church of Monson is seeking students who would like to help out at their 9th annual Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, October 1st.  In the past students have volunteered in various roles—helping to set-up or take down the event or assisting with activities during the event such as arts & crafts and childrens’ games.

Please see Mrs. Turner in Guidance for information on how to volunteer.
