College bound seniors should plan to apply for financial aid using the FAFSA as soon as possible.  It is suggested that you apply online, which is the fastest and most accurate way to apply.  A FAFSA Web Worksheet is available in Guidance to help organize information before beginning the online form.  Full paper applications are also available for students that don't have internet access at home.

Pathfinder is hosting a free Financial Aid Night on Thursday, October 13th in the school library for college bound juniors or seniors and their families.  Our guest speaker from Amherst College will explain the entire college financing process and be available to answer any questions.  Please let Guidance know if you plan to attend so we can have adequate seating and materials.

Pathfinder will be offering the PSAT (Preliminary SAT) on Wednesday, October 19th at 8:00 a.m. in the school Library at a cost of $15.  Any juniors or sophomores who are college bound should take the PSAT to practice and prepare for the SAT and get feedback on their academic skills to identify areas that need improvement.

Interested students should sign-up in Guidance as soon as possible as space is limited to 35 students. Please understand that signing up only indicates interest.  Your slot is not secured until the $15 test fee has been paid!~
