Pathfinder’s 10th grade students are required to take the MCAS as a graduation requirement. This year the students will be taking the MCAS on the following dates:

March 22, 23, & 24 -- ELA

May 17th & 18th -- Math

June 1st & 2nd -- Science

In order for all of our 10th grade students to obtain optimal performance, Pathfinder has modified the schedule for the Math and ELA sections of the MCAS for all students.

All sophomore students will report to school at their regularly scheduled time. McCarthy Student Transportation has altered its bus routes to accommodate only sophomore students for their first run.  Pick up times may vary based on the bus schedule.

Students in grades 9, 11, & 12 will be on a three hour delay. All of those students will report to school at 10:30, busing will be provided. Students in grades 9, 11, & 12 should be at their regular school bus stops according to a three hour delay schedule. For example, if your child catches the bus at 6:30 am, they should be prepared to catch the bus at 9:30 am.

If your child is a sophomore who is taking the MCAS, please speak to your child about the importance of this examination. It is important that your child is well rested and refreshed on these testing days, by obtaining a restful night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast. As usual your child may obtain breakfast at Pathfinder on the morning of the test.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
