General Electives

Mentoring is a grade 12 elective course offered primarily to students who were junior mentors in 11th grade. Throughout the year, the mentor students will lead small groups of freshmen through activities that will help them to make good decisions and have a smooth transition into high school, as well as with goal setting, shop selection, and identifying personal learning style. The Mentoring course will provide training to students on topics like leadership, teamwork, brainstorming, motivating students, and being a positive role model.
