Book Club

Under Ms. Durkin's direction, the Pathfinder Book Club began their second year October 2009. Students and teachers shared a wide range of reactions to the summer's reading. The magical realism of One Hundred Years of Solitude, by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, generated a lively discussion!
Michael Crichton's book Timeline was chosen as the first book to kick off a year of literary time travel - a theme first encountered last year in Jasper Fforde's imaginative texts starring Thursday Next. Other books in this genre will include Mark Helprin's epic book Winter's Tale and Jack Finney's classic Time and Again.
The Pathfinder Book Club wants everyone to know that reading good books is fun, but talking about them is even better. See you in Room 201!
