No Name Calling Week
Pathfinder will once again be observing No Name Calling Week Jan 22-25. This is an unfunded Federal DOE initiative that we gained some notoriety and good press last year as we were the only area school participating.
- Make students conscious and aware of just how pervasive name calling is - both in our society and in our school.
- Make students aware of how hurtful name calling can be.
- Have teachers and students gently reminding each other when they do name call.
The extent to which you participate (class discussions assignments) is entirely up to you, but a concerted effort might go a long way to creating a more tolerant, caring atmosphere for all of us at Pathfinder.
"Students don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." - Cavett Roberts
Teachers who have T-shirts from last year are asked to wear them on Wednesday.

The Career Exploration Program helps students find out how their interests and skills relate to the demands of more than 400 occupations. Even though the test is sponsored by the military there is no commitment by the student to join the military. The test also assists in making your educational and career plans.
