Comic book fans of all ages cheered for the heroes.and booed the dastardly villain.at the performances on November 9th and 16th.
This spring's presentation, Arthur, Son of Pendragon, is the sequel to Pathfinder Drama's 2003 highly successful show, Merlin, the Enchanter. The story recounts Arthur's rise from an unacknowledged child, raised in obscurity, to a young warrior. When his identity is discovered, he must fight for his inheritance, his sword and his crown.
Arthur (Andrew Roche) is opposed in his bid for the throne by King Lot of
Lothain (Shane Campbell), and falls prey to the alluring and treacherous Princess Morgause (Tonya Hicks). Arthur's mentor, Merlin the Enchanter (Jessie Prucnal) confronts the evil Morgause in a vicious encounter.
In the final challenge, Duke Cador of Cornwall (Evan Blouin) lends his support for Arthur's claim to the throne. Arthur's loyal attendant, Evelyn (Bethany Czupryna) and his friend Bryony (Talor Sicard) speak on Arthur's behalf. He needs all the help he can muster when his father dies, the royal sword is broken and Lot raises doubts of the youthful and inexperienced Arthur's fitness to rule.
Featured in the show are King Uther Pendragon (Ethan Delany) and his beautiful Queen, Igraine (Samantha Gancarz). Uther and Igraine's court includes their daughter Morgaine (Samantha Perry), Igraine's lady-in waiting, Marcia (Carolyn Stolz) and Uther's man-at-arms, Malcolm (Tim Bessette).
