The Outing Club is for students interested in outdoor activities. In the past few years these have included hiking, snowshoeing, skiing and rock climbing. Each year students meet and decide what activities they would like to pursue. This year the group is interested primarily in rock climbing. During the winter months we do rock climbing in the gymnasium. On weekends some members go to a rock climbing gym in North Hampton. As the weather gets warmer outside the outing club goes to various cliffs around the area to rock climb. Plans are in place to build a climbing/rappelling tower behind the school to practice in spring & fall. |
