Highlights:

Dec. 8 The Wrestling team lost it's opening match against Athol last night. Congratulations, however, to individual winners Matt Niemic and Robert Preston. The team's next match is Wednesday against Pioneer. The Wrestling team is reminded that the fund raiser coffee orders are due tomorrow.

Dec. 12 Pathfinder lost to Athol 51-30. Individual winners were Matt Niemiec and Robert Preston, both winners by pin.

Dec 19. Pathfinder (1-1) hosted Pioneer and won it's first home meet of the season 45- 30. Pioneers dominated in the lower weights starting out winning 5 out of the first 6 matches but Pathfinder won 7 of the next 8.

Dec 22. Pathfinder (2-1 league) traveled to Greenfield on Saturday picking up one league win and dropping two losses. The Pioneers beat Greenfield 42-36, but lost to Quabbin 54 - 30 and Mt. Greylock 61 - 17.Mutiple winners for Pathfinder were Adam Blais (135) with a pin and a tech fall; Jordan Suarez (140) with 2 pins; and Robert Preston (189) with three pins.

Dec 28. Pathfinder competed in a wrestling tournament hosted by Agawam; Jeremy Lamotte placed 2nd 171 lbs. and Robert Preston placed 2nd @ 189 lbs.

Jan.5 On Saturday the wrestling team picked up two wins and moved its league record to 3-1, by beating Frontier and Northhampton. Congratulations to individual winners Jerry Deyo, Jen George, Tyler Dashnaw, Nick Robitaille, Jordan Suarez, Adam Blais, and Robert Preston. Wrestler of the day was Jerry Deyo who won both matches by pin. The next wrestling match is at home this Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

Jan 9. The wrestling team lost to a very tough Dean Tech last night. Congratulations however to individual winners Jeremy Lamotte, all of whom won by first period pins. The team next travels to Mt. Greylock on Saturday.

Jan 12. (5-4-2 overall, 3-2 league) traveled to Berkshires on Saturday , picking up one win and to ties. the pioneers beat Stony Brook (Long Island, NY) 48 - 36, tied Monument Mountain 42 -42, and tied Mount Everett 40 - 40. Multiple winners for Pathfinder were Nick Robitaille, Justin Lincoln and Robert preston with two pins each/

Jan 19. The wrestling team picked up two wins and one loss on Saturday at home, beating Hampshire Regional and Gateway whiles losing to Amherst. Congratulations to multiple winners: Jerry Deya, Jim Henry, Nick Robitaille, Adam Blais, Matt LeCours, Robert Preston each one had tow pins each; and Matt Niemiec won all three of his matches - 2 by pin and in OT.

The next match is tomorrow, last home match of the season, with Granby starting at 7:00.

Jan 23. Pathfinder hosted league league opponent Granby losing 54-42. Individual winners were Matt Niemiec, Robert Preston, Ed Collette, and Josh Lebeau. The team's next match will be at Cathedral on January 26th

Jan 26. Pathfinder participated in the Northeast Duals Invitational at Cathedral on Saturday losing to Longmeadow 53-18, East Longmeadow 48-27, and Amherest 45-24 while beating Cathedral 48-29.

Jan 29. Pathfinder traveled to Turners Falls and lost to Franklin County Tech 48-25.
