Pathfinder varsity football experienced dramatic graduation losses going into this season. As a result the team will be very young and overall inexperienced. a large number of talented freshman participants will help to offset out graduation losses as well as provide a building block for the future. The team will be led by returning quarterback Tylor Richardson, running backs Nick Templeman and Joe Fitzgerald, and returning offensive lineman Tim Healey. Our team goals are to get progressively better throughout the season and to qualify for post-season play. 2011 Varsity Schedule
September 9 - Pathfinder Varsity Football opened its season with a 28-22 win over Quaboag. Kyle Pobieglo threw for a league leading 183 yards and 4 touchdowns, 3 to Trystan Davis and the game winner with only 8 seconds left to Mikey Krysnowich. Cody Hess ran hard for 151 yards. Defensively Brad Lord, Devon Beane, Alex Piechota and Josh Arnold braved a bigger line and made key plays.
September 25 - Pathfinder Varsity Football won over Sci-Tech 38-36 going into double overtime. Greg Pobieglo threw 10 passes of 20 for 205 yards and 2 touch downs to Trystan Davis. Mike Kryzowicz picked up a fumble and ran it for a touch down. Cody Hess ran hard all day and scored out first touch down. In the end Greg Pobieglo ran for the over time touch down and the 2 point conversion that won the game. Great team defense from all especially Josh Arnold who knocked off three stand up tackles.
October 8 - Greg Pobieglo threw for 239 yards and two Touch Downs to Trystan Davis and ran an interception back for 90 yards for another touch down. Tony Manonrite ran hard for 2 touch down dives. Cody hess ran hard for our other score.
