The most popular search engine, usually the student's best friend for finding information on projects or to cure boredom.

A news site for Western Mass. Very up to date with sports and other topics of interest.

Wikipedia

A site dedicated to free information. Has many topics listed and continues to grow each day. Students can become members and contribute as well. Though not always 100% reliable, still used by millions.

Ask.com's innovative search technologies deliver fast and relevant information for millions of people every day.

This is a news website with information about many subejcts. Such as News, Weather, Traffic, Sports, Community, Enteratinment, and much more.

The goal of Yahoo! Search is to discover and index all of the content available on the web to provide the best possible search experience to users.

CNN

CNN.com features the latest multimedia technologies, from live video streaming to audio packages to searchable archives of news features and background information. The site is updated continuously throughout the day.

This is a very easy straight-forward site that offers homework assistance with the use of interactive media. Click the "Go to NutshellMath" button for math related homework or click the "Go to COSMEO" button for help with other subjects.

With information on a large number of colleges in the United States Collegeboard.com clearly provides their information and also allows you to compare two colleges. Other features include how to fill out your FAFSA, a financial aid planner, and other useful tools. College board gives a step by step guide on everything you to know about college.

A highly respectable site in which millions of students discuss certain topics such as finding the right college or about some life issues. There is also a college search engine within the site so you can search and apply to as many colleges as you want.

CollegeBoard offers a massive search tool for not only scholarships but also internships, grants and loans, funding around $3 billion in financial aid. If you have an account for CollegeBoard you can save all your search information and keep them for later.

FastWeb

This is a very easy straight-forward site that offers links to millions of scholarships. All you need to do is create a profile(which is free) and you'll have access to a nearly unlimited amount of scholarship programs.

National Web Design

 

The world wide web virtual library of web design is a valuable resource page for students of the Information Technology shop. It gives a list of links that tell how to do everything you could need in web design. It gives tutorials for Dreamweaver, DHTML, Graphic Design, and many other subjects. It also gives links on how to learn several computer languages such as Ruby, Python, Java, HTML, and several others. This is a great resource for web designers.

Info Tech Association

The information Technology Association of America is the trade web site for the Info Tech shop. This gives all the latest news, developments and resources in the Information technology field.

Info Tech Professionals

 

The Association of Information Technology Professionals is a members-only web site where professionals in the Information Technology field can go to share ideas and enhance the IT industry. It also has a calendar of IT conferences and meetings.

Women and Info Tech

The Center for Women and Information Technology is an organization that empowers women to become professionals in the Information Technology Industry. It also offers financial aid information for women who wish to pursue a job in the Information Technology industry.

WebMD provides valuable health information, tools for managing your health, and support to those who seek information.

Medlineplus

MedlinePlus brings together authoritative information from NLM, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government agencies and health-related organizations. Preformulated MEDLINE searches are included in MedlinePlus and give easy access to medical journal articles. MedlinePlus also has extensive information about drugs, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, interactive patient tutorials, and latest health news.

CAD Institute

This is an online course that you have to sign-up for. It is similar to an online school, except it focuses entirely on CAD.
