The focus of the Student Council is to try to improve relations between peers and boost student morale. Student Council members are an integral part of the school. Through discussions, they are able to find out their strengths as individuals and help with problems such as smoking, peer pressure, etc. They do this in a positive way by educating other students. Projects such as Thanksgiving baskets and in school dances create a positive atmosphere. Students, who are not involved directly with Student Council, are given the chance to be heard through their Student Council Representatives. Student Council members are the students' link to solving problems. This is done through discussion with Student Council Advisors and School Administrators.
