Pathfinder has a passion for helping willing, hard-working students reach their potential. Students in the Automotive vocational program are guided by experienced ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Master Certified instructors, local industry, business and automotive college advisers, the Massachusetts Vocational Curriculum frameworks (COPS), up to date curriculum, and administration.

Program Credentials:
  • NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) Certified in the following areas; brakes, steering and suspension, electrical/electronics, engine repair and engine performance.
  • ASE Master Certified and industry trained instructors.
  • Industry quality tools and equipment
  • Computerized repair, labor and estimating information systems.
  • Co-op opportunities for qualifying students.
Pathfinder's automotive technology program provides students with the basic skills, work ethics, knowledge, and theoretical, technical and hands-on experience needed to become a successful entry-level automotive technician. Also, in this program you will be exposed to basic service, office and parts management skills. According to the U.S. Department of Labor statistics, there will be a shortage of qualified technicians which will create more of a demand for technicians in the present and in the future.
