Program Description:
Students will learn how to program websites that look great and delights visitors.
The curriculum involves learning HTML5, CSS, Photoshop and JavaScript to build 
their website. Students will concentrate on interfacing with customers and determining 
their wishes, through design and construction, to launching and managing its success. 
They will design navigation patterns, how to join the ecommerce trade by integrating a 
shopping cart, and ways to bring their site to life with animation, video, and audio.  

Students will learn the fundamentals of programming utilizing Visual Basic, an object 
oriented programming language. An emphasis on the three-step process to build an 
application, creating the user interface, and writing the code. Students will be able to 
gather the known information from the client and present the expected output. The 
student will create programs using good programming style guidelines, run the 
programs and correct any errors.

  • Sophomore - XHTML, Dreamweaver, JavaScript, CSS, Visual Basic
  • Junior - DHTML, Dreamweaver, Flash, Illustrator, XML, Visual Basic
  • Senior - Adobe Premiere "Sr. Video", Dreamweaver, Visual Basic
